Aloo matar ki sabzi is a very popular, simple and delicious curry from Uttar Pradesh (India), and is specially served with poori and bedvis.   1. Clean the green peas. Chop the onions, potatoes. Make a paste of ginger garlic. Paste of green chillies.
  2. Heat oil, add ginger garlic paste, Saute for few seconds. Add onions and green chillies paste. Saute till golden brown.
  3. Add the dry masalas and cook on high flame till oil separates.
  4. Now add the butter and the veggies. Cook on high flame and then slow flame.
  5. Add milk and cover and cook till done. Add water if required. Add kasuri methi powder. Mix well. Add the green garlic and give a nice toss. Now add the cream and cover and keep on slow flame for 2 mins. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with roti or parantha.
