I have already shared the traditional Recipe of carrot halwa here made without condensed milk. The traditional method takes quite a lot of time and needs patience as it requires constant attention. It cannot be made instantly when running short of time. So I make this gajar ka halwa sometimes.

- Firstly peel and mash banana.add grated potato,green chilli,Salt to taste,black pepper,cumin powder mix it and make small balls.Fill in it some carrot halwa.Heat the oil and fry these balls on medium flame till golden brown.
- Now blanch onions and tomatoes and make a soft puree. Heat the oil and transfer the purie in it.Mix all ingredients of gravy in curd,add in puree Cook for 5-7 minute on medium flame.
- When edges leave the oil then mix some water for gravy.Add Salt according to taste. After 2 boil add koftas in it.Add powdered Kasuri methi.Garnish with coriander leaves.
This halwa is made simply with mashed banana, sugar and few spices and ofcourse ghee. I used nendran pazham / ethan pazham for this recipe, i found that it Now add in a tsp of ghee at a time and keep cooking. At a point the halwa will get glossy. Add in cardamom powder and fried nuts. Mix all the ingredients together except ghee.
