  1. Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a heavy bottom pot and fry raisins until they swell up. Remove it to a plate and set it aside. In the same pot, add rava and fry on a low to medium heat until aromatic and crunchy. Please note that the rava does not turn brown.
  2. After taking the roasted rava aside in a plate, add three and a half cup of water along with ghee and oil (both 25 ml)
  3. Then add kesari powder. Let it boil.

  7. Sugar will dissolve and the entire rava kesari becomes loose again. Keep stirring and cook until the mixture thickens and the rava again becomes fluffy.
  8. Then sprinkle cardamom powder, and add raisins and ghee.
  9. Mix well and cook for 2-3mins. Then cover and rest for 2-4mins.
  10. You can scoop some rava kesari in a round cup. Level the top and invert the bowl. Gently shake it off.
