Instructions to make Whole wheat pav (eggless):
  1. Warm up water… add sugar. Dissolve completly. It should be lukewarm.
  2. Add yeast. Mix a bit and keep covered for 10 mins for proving.
  3. Meanwnhile take wwf,all purpose flour and salt in a mixing bowl. Give it a good mix and make a well in the center.
  4. When yeast is proved well.. becomes frothy add this mixture to the flour bowl and mix well.
  5. Knead the flour adding milk to make a slightly sticky dough and knead.
  6. Add butter and knead a bit more for around five mins.. the dough will become smooth.
  7. Put the dough in a greased bowl and brush the top with some oil. Keep it covered for 1.5 to 2 hours or until it doubles in the size.
  8. Then get the baking pan ready as second proving will take place in the pan itself.
  9. Punch down the air from the dough.knead it for 2 mins.
  10. Roll it into a log shape and divide into 9 equal size balls.
  11. Roll the balls and arrange then in baking pan with some distance in between as they need space to puff up.
  12. Cover with a cloth snd keep aside for 20 to 30 mins.
  13. Meanwhile preheat the oven at 180°c.
  14. Then brush them generously with milk and bake the pavs for around 20 mins or until top gets nice golden colour.
  15. Take the pan out brush them with butter to keep them soft and shiny.
  16. Let them cool in the pan itself… covered with a kitchen towel.
