- Prepare 4 boiled potatoes- mashed
- Take 2 onion

- Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and roast some sliced onions for two minutes.
- Then add ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder. Mix it.
- Add mashed potatoes and cook for 5 more minutes. Then add chaat masala, garam masala and lemon juice.
- Mix the mixture properly and take it out on a plate to cool.
- After it gets cooled, mix it with cornflour or rice flour and knead to mix it properly.
- Then grease your palms with oil, make small balls and dip it in gram flour mixture.
- To make the gram flour mixture, mix the flour with salt and soda. Make a consistent slurry using water and keep it aside for a few minutes.
- Deep fry these vadas and fry it till crisp and brown.
- Place it inside the pav. Serve it with green chilli.
