  1. Divide the handvo batter into 3 equal portions and keep aside.
  2. Heat 2 tsp of oil in a small non-stick pan, add ½ tsp of mustard seeds, ½ tsp of sesame seeds and a pinch of asafoetida and sauté on a medium flame for 30 seconds.
  3. Pour a portion of the prepared handvo batter and spread it evenly, cover with a lid and cook on a medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes or till it turns golden brown in colour.
  4. Turnover and again cover with a lid and cook on a medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes or till it turns golden brown in colour from the other side as well.
  5. Serve immediately with chutney
