- Cut potato and cauliflower in big pieces
- Boil them with 1.5 cup water in pressure cooker for 15 minutes / 3 whistles
- Take a deep pan and add 2 tbsp butter,keep the stove on medium heat
- Once butter is melted add cumin seeds
- After 30 seconds, add onion, tomatoes, green chilli paste, garlic paste and salt
- Boil peas with a cup of water in another pan for 5 minutes
- Cover the deep pan with tomatoes, stir it occasionally
- As tomatoes tenders completely, add turmeric powder, chilli powder and pav bhaji masala (I used Everest pav bhaji masala, i.e. available any Indian grocery store)
- Cover it and keep for 2 minutes
- Strain water from boiled vegetables and add it to deep pan
- Add boiled peas with water, green bell pepper, coriander leaves
- Add 1/2 cup water and salt
- Keep it covered for 20 minutes on low heat and stir occasionally, call this curry as bhaji
- As you get desired consistency, turn off the stove
- Heat skillet to roast the bun with butter (optional). You can serve bhaji with bread also.
- At the time of serving bhaji, add some raw chopped onion and lemon juice
- Serve bhaji with bun / bread and enjoy :)
