I came across this balls in a cooking show on youtube. I thought it will make a healthy snack. So i decided to try it. But when i made it and tasted it Since it has got oats, nuts, dried fruits, peanut butter and nutella.
Instructions to make Spinach rice with nutrella balls:
- First soaked the soya chunks in hot water for 15 minutes. wash the spinach leaves and blanch them.then cool it and grind it in mixer grinder to make a smooth paste. Keep aside. wash the rice and soaked in water for half hour.
- Take the soya chunks squeeze the water and put in a mixer jar then add 2 green chillies mint leaves and grind finely without adding water.then transfer in a bowl add some salt and little red chilli powder,corn flour and maida mix well and make a small balls from it.
- Take the rice add 1 tsp salt and 1tsp oil.Boil the rice untill it cooked 70 % then strain the water and keep rice into a plate.
- Take a kadhai add oil heat it and fry all the nutrella balls well.keep aside.
- In the same kadhai left only 3 tblsp oil and left is remove from it.rhen add chopped Garlic,saute one minute then add chopped onion saute untill it turns light pink.add 2 green chillies,and chopped tomato, 1/2 tsp salt and cook when the tomato become soft.then add turmeric Powder.
- Add palak paste, red chilli powder and fennel seeds add little water cover and cook for 2-3 minutes. Then add nutrella balls mix well lightly then add boil rice.mix very well cover and cook for 4-5 minutes.the spinach rice is ready.
