  1. Heat a pan,,put desi ghee in it. Now add Besan to it
  2. Keep on stirring constantly on slow flame till the Besan gets light brown..it should be done properly till the Aroma comes from it.
  3. On the other side make a chashni of gur and water together
  4. Sieve This chashni from a cotton cloth.
  5. Now in the BESAN,add milk slowly to it.
  6. Keep on stirring continuously
  7. Now Add water to it.
  8. Keep on stirring at low flame..so that no lumps should be there
  9. Now Add elaichi powder,,nuts to it.kesar strands as well.
  10. It's consistency should be thin,, that's why it is called sheera.
  11. Turn off the flame
  12. SHEERA (HALWA) is ready
  13. Garnish with assorted nuts
