Palak kofta Curry is a classical dish from North Indian cuisine, which has spinach dumplings in a spicy gravy made from onion and tomato. Add the palak puree and cashewnut paste and mix well.

We had this with Lachha parathas which i have posted here. Aloo (Potato) and Palak (Spinach) are vegetables which I always keep in my house. I love to cook this healthy spinach dish often as it is quick to make and also healthy. Make some hot roti's and raita along and we have a delicious dinner ready in no time.
Instructions to make Palak aloo kofta:
- First of all make better of wheat flour, take a bowl put wheat flour add all spices, water with chopped coriander leaves. Then make a stuff, potatoes should be boiled, then mashed carefully.
- Then take a pan add refined oil put Jeera here then Tejpatta, then add chopped onions and garlic then add crushed ginger in few amounts. Then put mashed potatoes with all spices.
- Then start making kofta, this prepared aaloo is making in round shape then dip into the wheat flour better and put into deep fry pan, where kadai is preheated with oil. Cook well and take out from kadai.
- Then kofta is ready. The spinach is boiled upto five minutes in a container. Then sieve carefully and grind well. Then take a pan put oil, then add jeera, red chilli, Tejpatta, all chopped onions, ginger, garlic and tomato. Add few amount of spices then cooked upto five minutes.
- After cooking this mixture should be cool in the room temperature up to fifteen minutes then take a mixture jar and grind carefully. After then take a kadai add pinch of oil just pinch of Jeera, then insert this grinded masalas. Upto three minutes of cooking add this grinded Palak or spinach. Add one and half spoon of salt and one spoon of garam masalas. After ten minutes of cooking switch of the gas flame and serve with aaloo kofta.
