- Wash spinach thoroughly then chop.
- Add 1/2 cup oil in a pan and turn on flame to medium.
- Add cumin seeds(zeera) and cook for 1 min.
- Add chopped onion and cook until translucent.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and green chillies paste and cook for 2 mins.
- Add tomatoes puree and along with, add salt, red chilli powder, red chilli flakes, coriander powder and turmeric powder and cook well.
- Add potatoes and cook for 5 mins.
- Add chopped spinach and cook for 25 mins on low flame with covered lid.
- After 25 mins, open the lid, turn the flame high and dry excess water.
- Add garam masala powder, methi and green chillies.
- Cook for 5 mins on low flame with covered lid until oil separates.
- Dish out and serve.
