Steps to make Methi aloo:
- Cut & wash methi.
- Heat oil in a Kadhai. Add garlic paste. Saute it. Add methi Leaves. Saute all for 1 minute. Add potatoes, green chillies & tomatoes. Cover it & cook it on medium flame until potatoes & methi.
- Once cooked & water evaporates. Add dry spices. Mix properly. Cook it on slow until it separates oil. Check seasonings.
- Garnish with milk cream or malai. Serve hot with roti or parantha.
Aloo Methi is quick and easy to cook and is a great comfort food. Cooking the slightly bitter Fenugreek Leaves along with the potatoes imparts a distinct flavor to the dish.
